Day 20- 4/1/14

 

Meal 1- 2 Eggs, Turkey Sausage, Salsa, Steamed Cauliflower, Strawberries, & Kombucha

Meal 2- Leftover Chicken Enchilada Soup, ½ Sweet Potato, Cucumbers, HB Egg Avocado, & Olives

Meal 3- Turkey Burger, Avocado,  Steamed California Veggies, & Olives

Pre-Workout- LaraBar w/ HB Egg

 

Activity- REP Circuit Workout, Yoga Class

 

Feelings: Today I felt really good. It was the best that I have felt in a long time. Other than my workout including lots of lunges and TRX Rows, today was good. I am sore from that workout. I can't believe it is already day 20. This goes so fast! On a side note, I played a good April Fools joke and got on played on me. That definitely added to the day's excitement.

Day 21- 4/2/14

 

Meal 1- 1 Egg, 1 Egg Whites, Steamed Cauliflower, Almond Butter, Blueberries, & Kombucha

Meal 2- Leftover Turkey Burger, ½ Sweet Potato, Avocado, Cucumber, Strawberries, & HB Egg

Meal 3- Round Steak w/ Peppers & Onions, Steamed California Veggies, & Avocado

Pre-Workout- LaraBar

 

Activity- 4 Mile Run

 

Feelings: I slept so well last night. My improved sleep is my most noticeable improvement since I started this whole 30. Today was another really good day. I just feel good, and I am excited for the last 9 days of this!

Day 22- 4/3/14

 

Meal 1- 2 Egg/Bacon Muffins w/ Salsa, Blueberries, Winter Veggies, Kombucha, Black Coffee

Meal 2- Leftover Turkey Burger, ½ Sweet Potato, Avocado, Cucumber, Strawberries, & HB Egg

Meal 3- Leftover Round Steak w/ Peppers & Onions & ½ Sweet Potato

Pre-Workout- LaraBar

 

Activity- REP Circuit Workout, Yoga Class

 

Feelings: Today was awesome. I was sore from my workout, but I felt great otherwise. I have not had any tummy issues all week, and I have slept so wonderfully. I also love how consistently clear my skin has bee. I want to shout front the roof tops how awesome this is, but I have kept it to myself. I'm sure my coworkers and friends are sick of hearing it already.

Day 23- 4/4/14

 

Meal 1- 2 Eggs, Shrimp, Salsa, ½ Sweet Potato, Cauliflower, Kombucha, Strawberries, Black Coffee

Meal 2- HB Egg & 2 HB Egg Whites, Apple, Almond Butter, & ½ Sweet Potato

Meal 3- Salmon Cakes, California Veggie Mix, Avocado, & Watermelon

 

Activity- Spin Class

 

Feelings: Wow! I awesome. My body feels less sluggish and weighted down. I never feel bloated on this, and sleep is just great. I can't say it enough, but this is such a treat feeling this good. It had been too long. This Whole 30 has been totally successful! 1 week left!

Day 24- 4/5/14

 

Meal 1- 2 Eggs & Egg White, Pork Sausage , Salsa, Winter Veggies, Kombucha, Strawberries, Black Coffee

Meal 2- 2 HB Eggs, ½ Banana, Lara Bar, Orange

Meal 3- Turkey Burger, Sweet Potato, Broccoli, Avocado, & Watermelon

Pre-Workout Meal- ½ Banana

 

Activity- 7 Mile Run

 

Feelings: Today was another good day. I woke up refreshed and ready for a run. I decided to try a half of a banana before my run today, since we went 7 miles. That seriously helped a bunch. I had energy the entire run. I had a class all day, so I made sure to take snack foods for lunch since they were providing food and I assumed it would be non-compliant food (and it was). Then I volunteered for Bountiful Basket, and the basket this week was AMAZING. I am loving my fresh produce for the week. Ready to dominate the last few days of this whole30!!

Day 25- 4/6/14

 

Meal 1- 2 Eggs & Egg White, Turkey Sausage, Salsa, Winter Veggies, Kombucha, Strawberries, Black Coffee

Meal 2- Turkey Burger w/ Avocado, Cauliflower, Apple & Almond Butter

Meal 3- Taco Salad w/ Elk Meat, Sweet Potato, Broccoli, Avocado, & Grapefruit

 

Activity- 30 Minutes Yoga; 3 Mile Run

 

Feelings: I felt pretty good today! I didn't spend quite as much time meal prepping this today, because I have slowly done it the past couple of days. I feel really good, and I am getting so anxious to measure because my waist feels smaller. I also have been thinking about what I plan to add back to my diet. I still have such a short list. I also have decided that I will do at least one Whole30 once a year no matter what. It just helps so much. 5 more days…

Day 26- 4/7/14

Activity- Spin Class, 3 Mile Run

 

Feelings: Today was pretty good. I felt a little more tired this morning even after a good nights sleep, and I am not sure why. One thing I am really proud of myself for is that I have worked out every day on this whole 30 so far. I know that prior to doing this, there were days that I would not feel like going to workout, so I would take a “rest†day. I have not had that feeling once, so that is a major thing.

Day 27- 4/8/14

Feelings: I had a really productive and active day. It was super nice out, which made my students a little more hyper, and I was ready for the end of the school day to unwind. I felt really good, and my workouts went pretty well. Some of my coworkers have asked me if I am ready for this to be over, and I have mixed feelings. I love having the restriction, and I love how I feel. I am not too worried about choices afterwards, but I am hoping my body handles oatmeal after this because I do miss it. Only 3 days left…

Day 28- 4/9/14

Meal 2- Ground Elk Taco Salad w/ Avocado & Salsa, HB Egg, Apple

Meal 3- 2 Eggs, Egg Whites, Pork Sausage, Salsa, & Steamed Cauliflower

Pre-Workout- HB Egg & LaraBar

 

Activity- 4 Mile Run

 

Feelings: Wow! What a great day! Once again, I was very productive. I feel so good and it carries over into the rest of my life. I am running low on meal prep though, because I wanted to make sure my refrigerator is cleaned out going into the weekend since I will be gone…so I am being really creative with what I eat until the end of my Whole30!

Day 29- 4/10/14

 

Meal 1- 2 Egg & Beef Bacon Muffins w/ Salsa, Strawberries, Winter Veggies, Kombucha, & Black Coffee

Meal 2- Baked Chicken Breast w/ Avocado, ½ Sweet Potato, HB Egg, Cucumber, & Apple

Meal 3- 2 Eggs, Egg Whites, Turkey Sausage, Avocado, Salsa, & Steamed California Veggies

Pre-Workout- HB Egg & Banana

 

Activity- REP Circuit Workout, Yoga Class, Cycle/Strength Combo Class

 

Feelings: Today was by far the busiest day of my Whole30. It started with an early 5am workout, 7am staff meeting, taught all day, put offer in on a house, and taught 2 fitness classes today. Not to mention, I am preparing for a substitute teacher for 2 days and packing for a 5 day trip across the state. I honestly give the Whole30 so wicked props for giving me the energy to make it through today. Tomorrow is my last day!! Cheers!

Feelings: Yes! I made it! Day 30! Whoo hoo!! Today was crazy busy, and I was on the road for a portion of it. Can't wait to measure tomorrow and see the physical results. I feel great internally and emotionally. My digestive system is working awesome. I am also excited for sushi and wine with friends tomorrow nightJ
