dogmom
I am going to make the "tons of tapioca" recipe that was in an article about how not to lose weight on the Whole30. I purchased granulated tapioca. The ingredients are organic tapioca starch and citric acid. Would this tapioca be Whole30 compliant?
Tina R
I am going to make the "tons of tapioca" recipe that was in an article about how not to lose weight on the Whole30. I purchased granulated tapioca. The ingredients are organic tapioca starch and citric acid. Would this tapioca be Whole30 compliant? Can you provide the link to the article? The only article I can find from the whole30 website doesn't mention tapioca at all. http://whole30.com/2013/12/keeping-weight-whole30/. I am thinking this won't be allowed but I could be wrong. I think this would "Sex with your pants on food".
dogmom
I have the same link. Under "Food Factors" click on the link in "Action item: Liquid food". I believe there are some concessions for people who are too thin to begin with, have rapid metabolisms, or are extreme athletes. I fall under the first category. Moderators Tom Denham Posted March 22, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 22, 2014 The citric acid is fine and for your purposes, the tapioca is fine too.
