Skepticallytrying
Day 13: As mentioned, no longer want to cry or kill people... which is great. But, noticed that every time I eat, I get bloating & gas, with fatigue by 7pm every night... Looked into the probiotics & enzymes info listed on the site & decided to try probiotics. It makes sense that my gut is trying to figure out why I'm no longer consuming alcohol or cheese every day, so I must repopulate my gut flora to help it out... I'm hoping this bloating & gas will stop in the next couple of days... I want that Boundless Energy the timeline talks about. Interestingly, I do sleep very well & have very vivid dreams! Anna Salazar
I am day 6 and am experiencing everything you are talking about. I guess everyone's timeline is a little bit different.
dogmom
I am experiencing your symptoms with the exception of the fatigue.I think it is the body trying to adjust to a different way of eating. I am on day 13. I do think about throttling my husband since he eats anything he wants and drinks wine in front of me. He's not giving up his goodies but baddies for my sake! Brittany Long
I'm on the end of day 6 and I am experiencing this bloat. I do need to get some probiotics though to help balance things out. I had a giant salad today and it's even worse. I am wondering if raw veggies have anything to do with it. I try to chew my food slowly!
Skepticallytrying
Brittany - I remembering reading that raw foods can contribute more to digestive upset, than cooked veggies... cooking makes it easier for us to digest them. I've been primarily sautéing or roasting my veggies, for that very reason. My only raw veggies are lettuce/arugula for right now... I actually prefer heating my veggies over raw, anyway (broccoli, kale, etc). I'm still experiencing some bloat & gas & I'm on Day 16, but I've only had 3 days of probiotics so I'm giving it a couple more days to even out... if not, I'll look into enzymes. Also, I gorged on some sweet potatoes yesterday because I was surrounded by family members eating all this yummy food (roasted red potatoes, marinated (sauce had soy) steak tips, wine, etc). I came home & sautéed some sweet potatoes to satiate myself! Finding balance is hard... one day at a time!
