Starting my 3rd Whole30 tomorrow

I've gotten way off track. Surgery, work, parties, blah, blah, blah. You've heard it all before. This is going to be my 3rd Whole30 (actually one was a Whole60). I look forward to interacting with you people more than I have recently. I hope everyone is doing well on their individual journeys towards optimal health. I'm going to start cooking for the week now!

I feel really good about how prepared I am food-wise before this Whole30. I already have a good amount of chicken bone broth and homemade BBQ sauce in the freezer, along with cooked spaghetti squash and Tomato Basil Chicken. Today I made the following:  Bison Butternut Cocoa Chili (will freeze some); hard-boiled eggs; olive oil mayo; tartar sauce; baked sweet potatoes; Rogan Josh (1.5 batches so I can freeze some); two big heads of mashed cauliflower (will freeze some, maybe, I'm an addict); and cooking overnight in the slow cooker is pulled pork. I planned my dinner for tomorrow night: Salmon cakes, green beans, etc.

Now to do my Self-Evaluation and set some goals.

Week one went pretty well. I stayed on track. I'm not the greatest about not doing anything else while I eat. It's a big challenge for me, partially because I eat fairly slowly. I actually made a decision to try to at least start my lunch at my desk because I work in a dungeon. If I eat in the kitchen, my entire lunch is spent just eating (and dealing with all the people that stop by to talk - and I'd rather avoid that as my job is to talk all day). So, I would prefer to start eating at my desk then have the opportunity to go outside and experience some of the Southern California sun, wind, air. I'm finding that helps my stress levels by reconnecting me to nature.

I feel a bit less prepared with food at the start of week 2, but I also already feel back in the groove. Since physical therapy for my hand ended last week, I have more opportunities to exercise this week. Yay!
