dogmom
Hi, I would like to know if Gastrazyme dietary supplement is allowed. As an active ingredient it contains Gamma Oryzanol (from rice) 100 mg per tablet. I have been hoping to take this supplement as others have claimed that it helps a lot with digestive troubles. The recommended dosage is one tablet (3) times per day. Can I take it now or should I wait until after my 30 days?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted March 30, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 30, 2014 The rice would make it not okay. For what it is worth, this stuff falls into the category of completely worthless pills in my book. There is no such thing as vitamin U. The collection of things that some guy started calling vitamin U has caught on and you can find websites that mention it, but that does not make it real. If you want help with your digestion, eat fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, real fermented pickles, kombucha, coconut or water kefir, etc. Maybe take digestive enzymes. Or you could essentially get the good from this product by eating cole slaw.
