renee_13
started whole 30 yesterday but just thought about the Unda's (liquid homeopathic preparation) I am taking for Gut/hormonal issues prescribed by my ND. They are professional based but does this mean I'm not really doing the whole 30 due to the alcohol in this? There are a couple other whole food, professional based powder supplements (Innate Response formulas) that contain stevia leaf….wondering if I should hold off on these for the whole 30? Stevia leaf is not approved, I understand, but it would not be being used to sweeten food or coffee. Either way I'm fine with it, just curious. Physibeth
I would drop the supplements because of the Stevia leaf for the 30 days. I'm not sure about the Unda's so hopefully another moderator will speak to that. You could talk to your ND and see if there is an alternative that you could try during your Whole30 that is compliant. Moderators Tom Denham Posted April 3, 2014 Moderators Share Posted April 3, 2014 I am generally very strict in my application of the Whole30-rules, but we do make allowances for prescription meds and even tolerate OTC meds. We would like to see you do your Whole30 with no alcohol and no stevia, but you would still be completing a valid Whole30 if your exposure to these things is in prescribed meds.
