Brittany Long
Can I have cereal or is that trying to recreate something? I was going to make it out of nuts and shredded coconut but I don't want to break any rules. I never really ate cereal before besides oatmeal. So would making paleo porridge or paleo cereal be breaking the rules? Sorry I am just so over eggs and I know I can eat dinner foods for breakfast and I do!Thanks
missmary
Brittany, sorry, but you already know the answer to this question, don't you? We recommend a meal following the template for breakfast, which includes a "palm-size" portion of protein, a thumb size portion of fat and the rest of your plate filled with vegetables. Does your "cereal" meet this guideline? I would rather see you eat a steak and a salad than cereal, and there is no reason not to. Take whatever meal is your favorite for dinner or lunch and eat it in the morning. no need to replicate a habit of eating sweet carbs first thing when you wake up. Brittany Long
Your right. I guess I will save this for after the Whole 30 as a treat. I had steak, broccoli, and sweet potato for breakfast! Very filling!
