nikben
Hi all:) On my second whole 30 in as many months. I won't bore you with all of the positive changes I experienced doing the first whole 30, but I lost 5 pounds (my weight had not moved for 4 months) and I feel amazing! Here is the deal, I'm nursing my 8 month old-also co-sleep. I'm a trainer & teach Kettlebell as well. I feel really bad when I have a snack! I gravitate toward nuts, berries, sometimes a date dipped in almond butter-must be needing fat:) This morning I was pace setting for my client as she ran the biggest hill in Minneapolis 4 times, and I had a snack when I got home. I will also have one tonight after kettlebell-we are also do sandbags & ropes tonight so pretty high intensity. I guess I just want someone to say this is OK. Or if it's not, what can I do to help with this? I want to be successful, and feel like I am doing the program how I am supposed too-Thanks:)
Robin Strathdee
Nikben- That is completely ok! You are using a crazy amount of energy during your day (and night)! Keep giving your body good food whenever it's hungry. You definitely want to make sure you're eating pre and post workout, and you may want to increase your meal size. That may eliminate the need for some of your snacks, but don't feel like snacking is wrong.

Robin D
Do NOT feel guilty about snacking. Even though my kid eats solids and is slowly "naturally" weaning herself I still feel like I eat a lot. In fact, because she's nursing less and I'm working out more I feel like I need to eat as much if not more than I was when she was 5 months old and still getting only breastmilk. You need to keep your energy up as much as possible. If you're hungry, eat. If you're thirsty, drink! And good for your finding balance in your life and doing things that make you a happy, healthy mother!
