Littlepeanut
Today is Dya 1 of I think my 5th Whole30--- I have an allergy cold that started a few days ago and despite my sniffly nose and sneezing, I am dealing; HOWEVER,, I have the WORST possible allergy headache known to man and I'm 2 seconds from stabbing my co-workers and downing a bottle of ibuprofen to make it stop hurting. (yes, I know ibuprofen is a no-no on whole30, but I am seriously suffering) I normally take a Claritin since I am terribly allergic to Lilacs and Tree pollen and the trees are pollinating SOOOOO bad in our hometown right now. is it completely ruining my whole30 to take the allergy meds? It is borderline a migrane since I am now developing being sensitive to light, sound and even some nausea. Can someone share some "how to" deal with this? This is the first Whole30 I've done where I've actually encountered such a big issue for me. I would love for my head to stop hurting.... any advice helps. Moderators Tom Denham Posted April 9, 2014 Moderators Share Posted April 9, 2014 You can take any over the counter meds that you want if you feel you need it to cope with your symptoms. Even ibuprofen, although we recommend Tylenol for pain instead because it is not as nasty to your muscles.
Snelson924
I use essential oils for pretty much everything. There are good ones to help with allergies as well
