Doing another W30, but making it a W70!

Completed a Whole 30 in March and I did pretty good. I lost 9 lbs. and about 9.5 overall inches. We (my Mom and I) reintroduced Dairy and we were fine with it. I lost my taste for my Coffee Mate Chocolate Creamer and basically went in to mourning over it, but I stuck with coconut milk in my coffee and we stuck with eating before drinking any coffee. That is basically what we stuck with. We went crazy! Popcorn, candy, bread, pizza, etc. And you know what? We felt like crap! Our stomachs hurt, we were bloated, felt like we had the flu, had to start an I.V. of Pepto Bismol to function and just felt overall yucky! Then started the yo yo phase, eat crap, feel icky, beat oursleves up, swear tto do better, fall again, etc. It's insanity!
So I/we are here today to state that we are going back on the program and we are committing to a Whole 70! We go on vacation for two weeks at the end of June, so we are sticking with this until we go! Will probably go back on it once we get back too. Obviously we didn't learn the lessons we were supposed to learn the first time around and so we are back! This time we are going to break the necks of those bad habits and bury them where they won't see the light of day, ever again! Aaarrrggghhh!!!!! Let's do this!

So glad to hear you are back on the wagon! Having a vacation might be a great motivator. I'm impressed you plan on returning to the program when you return. Have you considered developing a plan for while you are on vacation so that you don't feel bad for the way you eat. Maybe allow "fill in the blank" but not allow...

Best of luck and keep us posted

I did consider making a plan and after doing 70 days on the W30, I suppose I might not want to ruin my run, but as of now, I think I'll just not put restrictions on myself. I did notice that the last time, after 30 days, many of my tastes had changed, unfortunately, my brain hadn't, so even though the foods made me feel yucky, my brain still wanted them. Hopefully it will be stronger (my brain) this time around. Thanks for your comments, Laura!
