Hungrier in the final week?

My workouts have slightly increased in the last week, and this weekend I had brain fog for two days. Could this be a sign I am using food more efficiently, or did not properly fuel post workout? I followed thevtemplatecwithout starchy carbs since I have fat to lose.

Not eating starchy veg does not necessarily translate into fat loss. If I restrict starchy carbs, I feel "off" AND I hold onto excess weight. Brain fog is not a good sign. Any hidden ingredients that have snuck into your diet as of late? Check some labels to be sure. Otherwise, I would suggest incorporating a bit of starchy veg into your diet if the brain fog persists.

The template states if you have fat to lose, then do not eat starchy veg post workout, did I misinterpret this? No new foods have been introduced, I have added some additional starchy veg to see if that helps. Thanks!

 

No. If you are willing to sacrifice performance in the gym and, for some people, feeling your best, you may pass on starchy veggies in your post-workout meal to try to speed fat loss. Passing on starchy veggies helps some people lose fat faster, but some people require the starchy veggies to keep their hormones regulated and thus have trouble losing weight if they do not eat sweet potatoes, etc.
