Anticipating reintroduction

I don't need the Whole30 to tell me I'm (at least mildly) lactose intolerant.  My gut has been pretty clear on the subject.  That said, I'm still planning to eat some dairy post-W30, because I'd rather have some mild cramping than live forever in a world without ice cream.


When I'm thinking about reintroduction, would you recommend reintroducing dairy first (to give me a sense of exactly how severe my intolerance is), or saving it until last (so it doesn't mask symptoms I might have from other foods)?  I'm guessing the latter, but would love to have this confirmed/disputed.
