whole 30 mantras

I was just wondering whether anyone had any 'mantras' they use in sticky situations where temptation is tough?!

 

I tend to use...

 

'put your big girl pants on' (particularly useful when I'm about to throw myself  on the floor outside of starbucks in protest  :lol: )

'you're not hungry, you're bored'

"I am in control of my body.  Not the other way around."

 

I used this to resist cravings.  It drove me nuts and mad that my body was trying to sabotage my whole 30 by demanding sugar.   I used that anger to resist giving in.

"Nothing is leaving the planet," to remind myself that I can enjoy the tempting food after my 30 days (if I still want it).

"What are you hoping that [food] will do?" sometimes helps pinpoint the emotional issue at the root of the craving.
