I suffer with Chronic Lyme disease and met a new lyme doctor on Thursday. Well, he wants me on this Whole30 diet. I started the day after I got home. :(  It's a matter over mind for me b/c my diet had been already so limited. started a food journal too.

my issues are I'm allergic to half the vegetables on the list including Sweet potatoes. What do I do for starch? :(  I don't know how this is going to go but I'm taking it one meal at a time.

Congratulations! Hopefully you won't have to be on this diet forever to help your Lyme disease. Can you eat regular potatoes? I know they are not considered whole30 but if you are limited on your other starchy veggies you may have to. Can you have carrots, beets, or squash? Good Luck!

The list of vegetables, if you're referring to the shopping list, is not exhaustive. Besides sweet potatoes, other compliant carb dense options are winter squash, beets, carrots, jicama, plantains, rutabaga and parsnips. Are you not allergic to any of those?
