Accident--second opinion please

Okay, day 4. My daughter's birthday party. I'm prepared for everything. I bypass the raw cashew cream cheesecake I made her, the potato chips, the glass of wine. I made a special effort to buy sugar free pickle chips for the burgers, popped one in my mouth--IT WAS TOO SWEET--I realized that I'd misread the label. I didn't eat any more. I am thinking this is likely not a reason to start over, but I feel like I'm

Being sneaky by not asking for a second opinion. Since sneak-eating is one of my food issues, I thought I'd come to confession here. Thoughts?

Good for you for recognizing that this might become an issue for you and coming here to share. No, you don't need to start over because of one pickle. If it had been gluten, dairy or soy the answer may be different, but the sugar in one pickle won't derail your progress.

You put a lot of effort into being prepared for that situation - great work! Preparation like that will save you from many a nasty situation.
