Linda's whole 30 Log

Well its day 2 for me on whole 30.  I have been doing the paleo diet for about 2 months but having dairy, red wine, and touches of cheating with sugar every now and then.  So I guess you could say I haven't been doing Paleo!  Now i feel empowered with all the support on this post.  I understand what foods I can and can't have, but it's the portions that have me confused.  How much to eat?  I am a 56 year old, 150 lb.  woman who wants to lose weight and just feel better!  No more sugar highs and lows and bloating!   Probaby a good 15 pounds.  I walk several times a week (2 miles+ each time).  


Today, I had greek meatballs and cauliflower rice with spinach for lunch and although I started out hungry, i lost my appetite and didn't finish the cauliflower rice.   Tonight I am having a crock pot stew with pork, cabbage, carrots and onions.  Don't know what it will taste like, but it will be ready when I get home from work.  


I am using recipes from Nom Nom paleo and Well Fed books.


Would love any input and sharing from those out there.
