Sparklewoman
I'm trying to search before posting a question, as we are asked to do. But the search feature in the forum says I have to use words that are four letters or more! I'm trying to find info on chewing gum. I know it's "not allowed" but I want to ask people what they do instead. Why is search limited to 4+ letters? This seems weird. There are plenty of 3-letter words that people may want to search on, e.g., soy, ham, gum, etc.
Derval
I did a search for chewing & found these for you http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/402-gum-or-mints/page__p__3049__hl__chewing__fromsearch__1#entry3049 http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/1400-sugar-free-gum/page__p__10876__hl__chewing__fromsearch__1#entry10876
Sparklewoman
Thanks, Derval. The second one basically answered my question as far as chewing gum when it's just after a meal and I can't brush my teeth wherever I am. I usually chew one piece to freshen my breath but that's not a must-have. But the real problem when i do my Whole30 (haven't started yet, just preparing now), is that I also take several medications that give me horrible dry-mouth so I chew gum, twice a day, when I am out walking the dog. I can't carry a water bottle because my hands are full with leash and flashlight as it's late at night. So a piece of gum helps keep my mouth moist. Any ideas? jhmomi
Can you get a fanny pack to hold your water bottle? I have one for long walks.
Adagio
There are waist packs specifically made for water bottles.
Vicks
Just put your search query in quotes. "gum" will pull up answers if gum won't. EDIT I just searched "gum" and got nothing. Ignore me. But generally for other 3 letter words that works for me.
Robin Strathdee
Hi all! The powers that be say to add an asterisk (*) at the end of your word. You'll pull up everything that starts with those letters, but it's better than nothing!
Brusselupsomegrub
Just on the gum front in general, I got sparkling water naturally flavored with mint at Whole Foods the other day and it REALLY helped with my gum craving (and was an extra 34 oz of water I drank that day haha).
