Peg541
Oy vey. I was there a few months ago. It's all fast food and chains. I think someone who posts here lives there. Hope they chime in.
Czekit7
Going for the weekend. Looking for any suggestions...downtown. Thanks.
AlyssaM
As someone who grew in in salt lake it ABSOLUTELY is not all fast food and chain restaurants, esp downtown! Downtown salt lake is like any other city, and most Utahans are quite health conscious. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants that offer fresh whole30 approved options, and like anywhere else, be a little creative with the menu. Blue Lemon, Tin Angel, Café Trio, Eva, Pago, the Park Café (get an omelette for breakfast), egg and the city.. you can most definitely find whole30 options here, just to name a few. Administrators ladyshanny Posted June 23, 2016 Administrators Share Posted June 23, 2016 Melissa Hartwig lives in SLC and manages to eat out compliantly from time to time. I can't remember all the names of where she goes but one she frequents is Roots Cafe. I am pretty sure she orders the eggs benny over spinach and that dish is then compliant. You'd have to check/ask before you order/eat. PS. I was just in SLC earlier this month and had one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my life. It is definitely not all chains and fast food, not by a long shot!
