ptahoe
Hi - I just started the Whole 30 and i wanted to confirm that I can have coffee/tea and salt? Thank you for your help!
Tina R
Yes to all three. You can have compliant coconut milk or almond milk in your coffee, can be hard to find. Read the ingredients on your tea, some have soy or stevia which are not compliant. Salt can have dextrose in it which is technically not compliant. You might want to get some salt without this for your whole30. (I think salt with iodine has dextrose, I could be wrong). Good Luck!
GlennR
I have looked and looked and can't find any iodized salt without dextrose. However, per the mods, it's not a big deal. Use Morton's if you want to as needed.

Fluffy
Mineral salt is more healthful than morton's table salt. I buy it in the bin at the health food store. Kelp is a great way to get iodine. I buy kelp tablets. Dr Brownstein has a lot of articles about how Americans are lacking in iodine.
