sb0719
I've noticed by reading other posts that for a pre workout snack many people are having a hard boiled egg or two, but not having a fat with them. Are they considered a serving of fat also or should I be having some avacado or other approved fat in my pre workout snack? Thanks!
Physibeth
There is enough fat in the eggs already that they make a good pre-workout meal on their own. They pre-workout meal doesn't need a lot of fat just a little.
Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted May 15, 2014 Moderators Share Posted May 15, 2014 Sometimes, if all I have on hand is hardboiled eggs and I'm heading for a morning workout, I'll eat the yolks out of 3 hardboiled eggs as my PreWO nutrition, and then I'll eat the whites as my postWO meal because that's lean protein (along with some rutabaga/sweet potatoes/beets if I can scare some up).
