Brea
Okay so everyone is saying this recipe is lifechanging and I want to make it but I don't know where to buy or how to make compliant chicken broth? I've been searching the forum but I just keep finding ways to make bone broth, is that the same thing? Help please...driving to Whole Foods now

GlennR
Imagine Free Range Chicken Broth is compliant. So is the Kirkland Natural Chicken Stock from Costco. I'm sure there are more; just read the ingredients.

Brea
I did make it, but unfortunately i wasn't impressed. GlennR
One issue I have with the Nom Nom recipe is the flabby skin, so I broil mine at the end for 10 minutes to get it crispy. The slow-cooked juiciness and tenderness, the great gravy, plus the crispy skin makes the recipe work for me.
Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted June 10, 2014 Moderators Share Posted June 10, 2014 homemade bone broth will be much thicker and way more succulent, so if you just used a store bought broth, you aren't getting the full effect.
