evogel
Hello everybody, I'm new to this forum and I have a question, I'm on my day 20th and yesterday at work I ate some sashimi(just fish) and in a weak moment I put a little bit of Soy sauce on 3 pieces, do I need to restart again? melbournegirl
Only you can answer that... There are many reasons people do whole30s. Technically you intentionally broke your whole30 and done once it's a slippery slope and more likely you will break again but there are no whole30 police. Soy can be quite inflammatory so that may be enough to interfere with your reset.... Often recommended in this situation, You could go for a whole50 rather than count from scratch to recover the situation....
missmary
The official whole30 stance on this is yes: you had soy, which is a major gut disruptor, and you decided to do it (you knew it was soy and not part of the plan and had it anyway). Both of these are reason for a re-start.
