EMuir
Hey there, this is my 3rd Whole30 but first one doing a reintroduction. Cow dairy isn't much a part of my "usual" menu but goat dairy is more often. My naturopath has always maintained that goat dairy is more digestible and less allergenic than cow. Should I do 2 separate re-intro days for each type?
GlennR
I've read the same thing about goat's milk. I think it would a good experiment to distinguish one's reaction to the two different kinds of milk.
Guest
I am lactose intolerant but can tolerate goat's milk products a lot better than cow's
Moderators Tom Denham Posted May 23, 2014 Moderators Share Posted May 23, 2014 You could just test goat dairy products if you don't care about reintroducing cow's milk to your diet. If you want to consume cow dairy, it would probably help to test them separately as you may have different experiences with the two. A different experience in degree of reaction if not in having a reaction at all.
pjena
I'd try them separately. I can eat the occasional goat cheese with no problem, but cow cheese gives me a stomach ache. My son, who is allergic to dairy, reacts MUCH more severely to goat products. We're all different, so it's worth a try.
