Can I have anything from Steve's Original?

So I really want to order some stuff from Steve's Original just to have handy for a snack when I'm at the office or on the go. But I'm having trouble with some of the ingredients. For example, this is what's listed for the original grassfed paleo kit:

Beef jerky (grassfed beef, sea salt, apple juice concentrate, paprika, pineapple juice concentrate, beet powder, black pepper, garlic powde, ascorbic acid (Vit C.), Infused cranberries (cranberries, apple juice concentrate, sunflower oil), infused strawberries (strawberries, apple juice concentrate, sunflower oil, citric acid), almonds, pecans, macadamia nuts.

I know we're allowed to use a little bit of fruit juice for cooking purposes, but I was unsure about the apple juice/pineapple juice concentrate and the sunflower oil.

Thoughts? His stuff looks SO amazing! I can't wait to dive in but don't know if I need to wait until after my Whole30.

These ingredients in this context sound okay to me. You would not want to cook with sunflower oil, but a little in a snack food should not be a problem. And any of the fruit juices as a sweetener is okay.

To be squeaky clean, you could look at the Primal Pacs snak kits. The Whole9 wrote about them awhile back... http://whole9life.com/2010/12/primal-pacs/

I had one of Steve's Original Berky packs yesterday and it was different from anything I had tried before but oh so yummy! The fruit juice and furit pieces made this a wonderful sweet snack.

I have a Primal Pac in my office as an emergency meal (can't wait for that emergency!)

Good luck!
