Cinnaberry74
During my trip to Disneyland, I did what I could do to stay complaint. However, there was known sugar in some foods, and I just could not NOT eat. (If I wasn't breastfeeding or just too hungry and exhausted from walking 10+ hours in the heat, I could've survived fasting). I did what I could, like taking skin off of chicken and trimming the beef, but foods were in non-compliant oils and looked questionable. The staff was helpful in the small cafes we ate in at the park, but since food was already prepared in batches, I didn't get anything specially made for me. I ate most of my compliant snacks to try to fend this off, but no good. Clif bars are not satisfying. I made it 25 days, but I'll need to restart. The great thing was that even though I knew I broke the cycle, I did not feel like I needed to go all crazy and ravenous. I still maintained what I could for the rest of the trip. (ok... I admit I had a bite of my son's ice cream bar, but it did not appeal to me.... too sweet, OMG!). Now that we have returned home, I've still got my fabulous complaint foods (I'm actually really happy to be back and cooking!), but I'll be restarting my Whole30 at a later time. Today I'm going to make and freeze some paleo pancakes and waffles for my kiddies because I was giving them boxed all this time. They need to go back on track, too! I never knew I could miss sweet potatoes, too. As the Terminator said..... "I'll be back."!
Whole_wy
I cheated today...hard. I didn't care at the time, and now I feel like a bag of butt. 15 days in, and I have to restart...AGAIN.

Tina R
Congratulations to making it to day 25 even if it was a mostly Whole25. I noticed that you said you ate cliff bars, did you mean larabars? I don't believe clif bars are compliant. The ingredients I see are Brown Rice Syrup, Oats, soybeans and soy flour. All of these ingredients make these non compliant. Maybe you have a compliant one that I am not aware of. If not just avoid them for your next whole30. Good Luck!
Cinnaberry74
They are Kit's organic (a Clif bar with only fruit and nuts). The ones I bought are organic dates, almonds, bilberries, barberries, and sea salt. 100% compliant, but thank you for the concern
