psychlgal
On my 18th day and new to the forum. First week I had accidental slip with tuna. ..who knew there was soy in it? Have been reading that some accidental slips don't require a restart and hope this would qualify?
GFChris
It's ingredient-dependent on whether a restart in accidental situations is necessary. As an example, an accidental slip of sugar in a store bought salsa, no restart necessary. Soy, whether accidental or not, does call for a restart. It's one of the major gut disruptors. Part of the Whole30's intent is to have 30 consecutive days free of any gut-disruptors. Ingesting soy, sadly, restarts the clock. So, figure out what day you had the tuna with soy, and add 30 days from there.
psychlgal
Thanks Chris. I plan on staying on it beyond 30 days anyway, although I am really looking forward to reintroducing dairy.I miss it the most.
Beets
Soy, for me, is one of the worst offenders. Sorry. Soy is in a lot of weird places.
