Vickitm
Am I allowed to use the nutribullet on my whole30?
GFChris
If you mean for juicing or to make smoothies, no. Smoothies are discouraged on a Whole30. The idea is to chew your food vs. drink it, as chewing is more satiating. Fruit juice is to be used only as a flavoring in cooking on a Whole30: not as a beverage. snowflower
depends on what you're putting in it...... the whole30 plan recommends chewing your food rather than drinking it, but you could use it for sauces, dressing, mayo, etc.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted May 31, 2014 Moderators Share Posted May 31, 2014 Probably not for things you are used to using it. Here is the deal, we want you chewing your food, not drinking it. Food in liquid form digests faster than whole food that you chew. The result is that you do not feel full as fast and may overeat AND, because the liquid food digests faster, you become hungry faster and then are faced with either eating more sooner or going hungry until "meal time." Neither is good. So we ask you not to turn veggies or fruit into juice and not to create smoothies. Now if you want to use your tool to make a dressing, that would be fine.
