Church Communion gluten free bread

Recommended Posts

This morning at church, I encountered a situation I did not prepare or think of in advance: Communion. Our church, like many offers a gluten free bread for celiacs to dip in the grape juice, so I chose to partake of that, although I have never been diagnosed as a celiac. I did wonder if this was Whole30 compliant and if it would require a start over. ??? Any thoughts out there on this topic?

Going the gluten free route is a good choice, because reaction to non-gluten grains seems to be less common than to wheat.

Even a bite of gluten-free bread might make a fraction of a difference to your Whole30 experience, but not enough to worry about and not enough to consider suspending your religious practice for 30 days.
