jaclyngb13
Hi, I have just started my whole3o journey, and right now I am on day 3. Some nausea start around 4 o'clock on Monday afternoon and is still here. Just wondering if this is normal. I am so nauseous I do not want to eat anything and I am having to force down food which is making things even worse. Just wondering if this is normal and if it is how long should it last? The nausea is making everything unbearable.
GlennR
Sorry about what you're feeling. Nausea does happen to people in the first week of a Whole30. It's your digestive system being upended with the changes in your food intake. Try to eat food that's more palatable and that go down easier. Cooked veggies instead of raw, or purees or thick soups; scrambled eggs instead of meats, that sort of thing. Lower your portions if you need to, but keep to an eating schedule, even if you just take a few bites at lunch or dinner. (And get back to the amounts in the meal template as soon as you can.) Try probiotic foods (just a little at the start!) like sauerkraut and pickles and kombucha; the digestive enzymes might help with your digestion. But stick with it; it passes after a while. Good luck!
