Old habits die hard

Have been dealing with some difficult stuff lately and discovered that my old habbit of snacking mindlessly is not as "gone" as I thought it was. Didn't have an issue with it during my first Whole30 but these past few days have been hard. Apparently I can't have macadamia nuts around when stressed because I just do not stop eating them.

What do you do to stop the emotional trigger? I know I can choose other things to eat, go find other things to do with myself, etc. I guess I'm looking for a bigger answer.
