what better way then to start on Friday the 13th! lol

I'm just finishing reading the book and I am going to clean my cabinets tonight to prepare.

My worry is finding good recipes to cook.

I'm looking forward to renewed health, weight loss and a new way to think about food.

I'm hoping to loose about 10 lbs in 30 days. I'm hoping that this new way of eating and increased exercise will allow me to do this.

Any advice anyone could give would be great!

For recipes online I would highly recommend looking up the clothes make the girl, nomnompaleo, and stupid easy paleo. Also Whole9/Whole30 has a presence on Instagram and Pinterest. Our own moderator Tom also has a website with a lot of easy Whole30 compliant meals (the link is in his signature if you go sniffing around for him).

For cookbooks I recommend Well Fed and Well Fed 2 has great starter books. They are almost entirely compliant and easy and tasty.

On the weight loss...try not to focus on that. 10 lbs in 30 days is a pretty lofty goal. Dependent on your personal context it may happen but I would focus more over the next 30 days about all the other benefits that you are likely to see. http://whole9life.com/2012/08/new-health-scale/

Other advice - print out the meal planning template and use it to formulate all your meals. Do lots of planning ahead and always have something quick and easy ready to go. I like to keep grass fed burgers in my freezer for when I need a meal fast.
