lorajane1203
Help- being doing whole 30 for a month and a half and just am not seeing results (weight loss) and am feeling frustrated. I am pre-menapausal and am wondering if I need to change anything to adjust for that. Thanks for any help!!!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted June 12, 2014 Moderators Share Posted June 12, 2014 Your menopausal status does not warrant any changes in your approach to doing a Whole30. If you would like some help figuring out what may be going on, we would need you to provide a record of what and how much you have been eating - at least a few days of meals - how much you are sleeping, caffeine use, exercise, age, etc.
GoJo09
Have you seen any improvement in non-weight related areas? Ie. hot flushes, sweating, mood? All of this might be going on under the surface, so to speak, before any external changes become apparent.
Lemony
I am interested in this subject as I have just started a low dose of HRT
Mariana
Have you seen any improvement in non-weight related areas? Ie. hot flushes, sweating, mood? When I gave up sugar, caffeine and chocolate and stayed off of them, my hot flashes and the rest went away (well... over 95%). As soon as I had some again, they started up again (as many as 4 hot flashes an HOUR!!!) UG. It was worth giving it all up not to feel that. It was horrible all day and woke me up every 15-20 minutes every night!!
