Lynn L
I am on day 11. Since day 3, I think, I started have nightmares/terrors. Wake up screaming, etc. I haven't slept well in several days. Normally I am a pretty sound sleeper. I have always had to watch eating sugar late at night because that would give me nightmares, but I am I am being compliant. So, no sugar at all. Has anyone had this happen?
Paleomedic
I've been having increasingly odd dreams lately. I tend to be a dreamer generally but these have been really unpleasant. Good to know I'm not the only one. Hoping they go away soon!
GlennR
Do you eat carbs close to bedtime by any chance? These could be breaking down into sugars just as you sleep.
Lynn L
I didn't eat any carbs after 6 pm. I knew from my sugary days if I eat sugar after 8 pm. I am guaranteed to have night terrors. My husband doesn't even wake up anymore, lol. He just throws his arm over me and tells me to go back to sleep!
GlennR
Mmmm. I don't know. If Whole30 is giving you stress, then maybe that's coming up in your fitful sleep. Or there may be no connection at all? Brains are such weird and complex things... I hope you're gaining from your Whole30, though; and that you keep going, despite the nightmares.
