April
I'm trying to figure out some good sources of dense carbs (PWO). I really, really am not a fan of sweet potatoes. I used to love them, but now that I've cut out sugar, they just taste way too sweet to me. Oddly enough, I can eat a banana without a huge problem (although they're not my favorite). Does anybody have any recommendations for dense carb veggie sources, other than sweet potatoes? Or is a banana a good source? Thank you!!
Joey
How are you with other roots? Beets, carrots, turnips, parsnips, rutabagas, etc.? Some squashes are pretty carb heavy, too, especially the winter varieties.

April
Thanks! I admit, I've never tried many of those, but I do like butternut squash, spaghetti squash, beets, pumpkin and of course carrots.
