gardnermer
So, I had food poisoning last night. Again. This is basically the only form of "sick" I get. I had it a month ago the day after my Ironman. I had eaten some non compliant foods last month and put my body through a day of torture so I wasn't too shocked. But not sure what triggered it this time. Im worried it's stress at work manifesting itself physically. Last night for dinner I had cauliflower rice with steamed broccoli and pasta sauce (compliant). With a serving of chicken breast grilled. Since losing that around 2 am I haven't been able to keep anything down. Eggs, juice, water, chicken, chicken broth, veggies, I'm tempted to try Ginger ale and bread or rice but I'm not sure this will help at all. Any suggestions on what to do to get my guy under control??
GoJo09
What about plain baked sweet potato? It's got more fibre than bread or rice, but it might be simple enough for your stomach to accept it. And make sure you keep up the water, as much as possible.
Moderators LadyM Posted June 19, 2014 Moderators Share Posted June 19, 2014 I'd try gingerade kombucha before gingerale and starchy veg before rice or crackers. So sorry you're miserable right now!
