I have been holding off complete commitment to a whole 30 - a bit out of fear of the unknown but I am ready to start feeling better. I think the biggest thing for me is going to be breaking the habits I have regarding foods. Also - I have a poor tolerance for eggs so I worry about breakfasts. Any suggestions?

Welcome!

There's been lots of past discussions on non-egg breakfasts.  Some examples below:

Best way to search the forum is from Google. Type Whole30 followed by whatever you're looking for. If it's been discussed, you'll get links to the posts.

As an aside, don't think of the first meal as breakfast, think of it as Meal 1. That opens up all kinds of possibilities for what to eat.

Where do we find recipes?

If you are on pinterest or Instagram, there are lots of ideas there.

otherwise, if you are used to cooking, just make sure you follow the meal planning template which can be found here among other helpful things:

My name is Karen. I am starting my second whole 30 on July 1st. I have had a really tough year, and trying to pull myself back to where I want to be, both for weight and fitness.

This is a very rewarding experience. We will learn a lot about ourselves. I look forward to getting started.

Hi everyone! I've just done 30 days of Whole9 eating in June, and I'm continuing on in July (and August), on doctor's orders! I've also just started Primal Blueprint Fitness. Good luck to everyone, and I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with you all. :)

I started on June 1st and I feel awesome!! I knew when I started that I would be making this a whole 60 and because I still have residual cravings (cream & sugar in my coffee...black & all the other suggested options just don't cut it) I know it's the right decision. And I've lost weight...my pants are falling off! I'm looking forward to the next 30 days...I plan much more time in the gym so it will be interesting to see how that goes!

Best of luck to all the newbies...you CAN do this!!!
