nlhellmann Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Hi! Today was supposed to be day 4 but I woke up last night with an upset stomach so out of habit I ate a Tums! Bad decision -- corn starch and dextrose so staring over. Need to be true to myself and the program. On the plus side I ate and liked sweet potato today -- that's new! Getting the planning down so all good, pressing on. Going to a delayed July 4th cookout but taking meat to grill, salad, fruit and maybe 'picklies' (spicy coleslaw from Haiti that uses citrus juices, hot peppers, vinegar and oil for the dressing). TracyP Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Good for you, during my first Whole 30 I mindlessly put a piece of muffin that was offered to me in my mouth and had to spit it out! It was in that moment that I realized how often I ate with out thinking. Amazing how many things we put in our body without thinking. Your menu for the cookout sounds fab. Enjoy!
