July 6 start date

Hello!  My name is Chris and I will be staring the Whole30 for the first time tomorrow July 6. I'm a single dad, and my daughter will definitely help me, but I will most likely need support.  I'm looking forward to finishing this without a restart in the middle.

I am starting today also.  30 days of no travel and thus less temptations.  Good luck Chris!  This is my 3rd Whole 30...you will start feeling great in a week or two.  My one bit of advice...read labels and read this forum daily if possible.  Day 1...

I started yesterday (6th).  This is my second trip.  As far as breakfast (to answer above), I often have lunch and dinner foods for breakfast!  Think out of the box for 30 days :-)

 

I am having a massive sugar craving tonight...wish me luck!

Good luck all! I also started yesterday (the 6th). I'll be on the forum for support.. I don't really have any at all so this will probably be pretty vital for me. Today, day 2, I have a major migraine. Don't know what's up with that, but it's helping to remind me of why I want to complete this... :)

I was just wondering how everyone was feeling on Day 2? 

 

I keep looking at the labels of various food items and realising how much rubbish is in everything.  It's all a bit overwhelming. 

 

Anyone else feeling overwhelmed?

The easiest thing to do is make everything from scratch. Trying to find compliant packaged food is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. You can make very simple foods for each meal. Stir fry veggies and ground beef are quick and easy. Spaghetti squash with homemade meatballs and tomato sauce are easy, hamburgers, applegate hotdogs, and chicken wings with franks hot sauce are easy. Good luck!
