sharondgs
I'm doing a separate day to reintroduce sugar on day 1. I know potatoes aren't processed sugar but would they fall under a sugar day, or some other category?
Tina R
Actually I don't think sugar and potatoes need to be reintroduced if you follow this plan. It won't let me post the link to Step Two Reintroduction from the website. http://whole30.com/step-two-finished/.%C2'>
Moderators Tom Denham Posted July 7, 2014 Moderators Share Posted July 7, 2014 White potatoes are banned more to help people learn to eat other things and not because there is anything harmful about them. That is potatoes themselves. Those that come dusted with flour and fried in problematic oils from fast food joints are problematic, but that is not really the fault of the potato. GFChris
Sugar does not require its own reintroduction day, per Melissa: http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/11298-day-31-re-intro-email-sugar-not-listed/#entry115489

Poor, innocent Potato, always the patsy!
