bifdiehl
Living in a small town makes shopping challenging. The closest Whole Foods is 1-1/2 hours away. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found what I think is compliant chicken sausage at my hometown grocery store. The only thing that gives me pause is the vague "spices"and the powdered mushrooms. What do you think? D'Artagnan Chicken Sausage with Wild Mushrooms: chicken, water, portobello mushrooms, dried mushrooms, shallots, salt, garlic, spices, porcini mushroom powder. GFChris
You're fine. Looking at the details on their website, they specify that they're gluten-free with no preservatives. http://www.dartagnan.com/Chicken-Wild-Mushroom-Sausage/PSACM002-1,default,pd.html?dwvar_PSACM002-1_freshFrozenWeight=Fresh%20%2f%209%20oz&cgid=Chicken_Poussin&cgid=Chicken_Poussin#start=8 They look yummy - enjoy! Moderators Tom Denham Posted July 11, 2014 Moderators Share Posted July 11, 2014 Go for it! Spices is a vague term that we accept as okay and mushroom powder is fine.
