Lizitea
If I eat about 3 dates after my meal and it doesn't go any further than that -- I am not spinning off into fruit or any sweet eating binges-- IS THIS OK? whatever you say I will do..... GFChris
It's ok, in the event you were still hungry after your meal (and your meal met the recommendation of protein, vegetables and fat). However, if you're satiated from your meal and you're eating the dates to have something sweet, it would be something to avoid. Does that help? missmary
However, if you're satiated from your meal and you're eating the dates to have something sweet, it would be something to avoid. This. I find it highly doubtful that 3 dates after a meal would be a hunger based choice: if this is replacing dessert it is really best to skip it (try eating more protein, fat and veggies if you are still hungry). Brewer5
3 dates = about 48 grams of sugar, zero protein To put this in perspective: Snickers bar = 27 grams of sugar, 4 protein Mini Chocolate Extreme Blizzard from DQ = 45 grams of sugar, 8 protein I realize the above items are not "compliant", but remember: The sugar dragon doesn't care if it comes from dates or Snickers, it just knows that it screamed for sugar and it got fed.
