pamgc92
I typed smart water in the browser, but nothing came up. I don't want to make any assumptions with a week under my belt.
Tina R
As long as the only ingredient is water than you can have it.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted August 7, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 7, 2014 Smart Water is a waste of money, but you can drink it if you want.
pamgc92
$mart money is expensive. Do you know of a way to add electrolytes to tap water during the summer?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted August 8, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 8, 2014 You do not need added electrolytes when you are eating Whole30-style and adding enough salt to your food when cooking to make it taste good. Vendors try to convince you that you NEED special products when you really don't. I was doing Bikram yoga several years ago and the studio strongly emphasized that I needed to drink electrolyte enhanced water after sessions. I checked with Melissa Hartwig and she told me I could ignore my teacher on this point, that I was fine doing 90 minutes of hot, sweaty yoga and drinking plain water. If you want something with a little extra in it during the summer, you could drink coconut water. That is expensive too, but if you were running a marathon in the summer, it might be helpful.
