EvB
Hi The thread about "how many eggs" question got me thinking about one of my questions: I get the "palm of protein" concept from the template, but how does one measure something like ground meat? Do I picture a scoop in my palm or a handful? Do I aim for a small pile in my palm? (and yes, I almost tried it the other night but I'd already added the salsa to the turkey and didn't want to try handling a sloppy mess!) How much do I pile in a palm's worth before it's too much? For the record, if I think about putting a thin layer in my palm, I'd prob only get 1/3 cup of meat wahh. That seems too small (but then maybe this is why I never lose weigh on W30...)?! Thanks! Robin Strathdee
Go for a pile approximately the same size and thickness as your palm, but don't over think it. Our template recommends 1-2 palm sized portions, so anywhere in that range is good
Brewer5
Yeah, like picture your ground meat made into a burger. Or make it into a burger, then take it apart if you are not making a burger, you know? A palm-sized portion for me is right around 4 oz. But like Robin said, don't overthink it. Just ballpark is good.
