Lazybonesjones
In a couple of weeks I'll be going on a backpacking trip for a few days. We're spending the night at bed and breakfasts so I will have breakfast and dinner covered but I need to bring food for lunches that is portable and doesn't need to be cooked. Everyone I'm going with is bringing protein/meal replacement bars and unfortunately where I live I can't get any RX bars. I do have a dehydrator so I'm planning on making some jerky and apple slices and bringing a bunch of Lara bars/dried fruit and nut mixes. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas or recipes for things that don't need to be cooked/rehydrated that will fit into my backpack?
