dannyxtyler
I'm on day 10 but just decided to join this forum after running into some challenges (nephew's birthday party this Friday, friend coming for a whole week starting Monday)... I'm hoping to find some to-go meals or other quick ideas that won't leave me feeling hungry, so I'm off to see what info is already on here! CaGirl
While your friend is here its very simple.. Good wholesome protein and veggies.. Salads, etc.. Chicken salad on top of a plate of greens is always good, hard boiled eggs, have you made mayo yet? google it if not. And as far as the birthday, You just won't have the sugar.. You can do it.. Its very empowering to say No.. Enjoy that feeling of not eating cake.. You will live.. And you'll feel so much stronger.. Remember its only 30 days. dannyxtyler
Thanks! My issue is that I have to feed my friend as well, and he eats all junk, all the time. It's going to be a challenge keeping him happily fed under my eating plan, but he's promised he will stick by me and eat my "boring" food. As for cake, well, that's not an issue, either. My main problem is that we go out to eat for everyone's birthday. It will take a lot of willpower (which I really don't have much of) to say the NO to the junk at the restaurant, but, I'll do it. I am a third of the way through this. I can already tell a huge difference in my cravings and in the way that I want to eat and even the way I see food. I'm not gonna mess it up now!
