Josephine
I'm still in my 30 anyway, but one of the things I am anxious to reintroduce contains casein. I already know my system well enough to say that I really can't have milk. It gives me cravings. But that could be a ton of things in milk causing my cravings - what exactly is casein and what are the chances that it causes the cravings? Have any of you reintroduced casein without reintroducing milk?
GFChris
Casein is a milk protein. If you already know that milk is not your friend, I'm not clear on the need to reintro casein.
praxisproject
What are you wanting to reintroduce with casein? there may be other dairy-free alternatives. For me, dairy packs a big punch to the gut, it just doesn't show up right away, but it hits my immune system.

GFChris
Coconut milk powder. Why not just have coconut milk, without the casein, instead? Just curious ...
Josephine
It's very different. My aunt sends it to me from Honduras and I use it in many old recipes that are compliant otherwise. I've tried them with coconut milk and coconut flour. Doesn't come out the same at all.
praxisproject
I can get coconut milk powder in Australia without casein. Mine is Ayam brand, multiple sachets come in a blue cardboard box.
