StrongandFit
So, I started my whole30 yesterday (Aug 12) and felt fine. Great energy waking up, tired like normal in the evening and than it hit... is this normal.... Day 2: I slept for a total of 12 hours and could not get my body out of bed... it was like a coma. I tried to move and function but I couldn't. Luckily, I had a late start at work today of 12pm and I finally crawled out of bed at 9:30am. I went to bed the night before at 9:30pm because I was tired from a busy day. Now is that normal... if so I am afraid this may not work for me. Most nights I am used to getting 7 to 8 (usually 8) and feel just fine. Does anyone have any advice for me or did this happen to anyone else. Thanks!!! Just hoping this does not happen again tomorrow. And side note it is 4:26pm and I am already tired and want a cup of coffee but am resisting so I can actually sleep tonight. Renee Kosowan
I think in the first little while your body needs some extra sleep to help with the detox process of the sugar, gluten, dairy in your system. I felt like sleeping quite a bit in the beginning and then it got so much better.
