arrow root

I fried chicken in coconut oil last night and the recipe was to use coconut flour. I was going to add a little arrow root to the mix and ended up switching the measurements around I guess because the arrow root was white. The chicken turned out really good and crispy. I know its ok to use arrow root as a thickener but did I mess up my whole 30 using the cup of arrow root when it was suppose to be a cup of coconut flour? Of course not all of it was used because I just dredged the chicken.
