shellsewnsow Posted August 30, 2014 Share Posted August 30, 2014 Started my Whole30 today Feeling good about it, although I have a mild cold, so it's hard to tell physically whether I feel any different than usual. Can't do black coffee - I tried! Could do it with a little bit of coconut milk though. So glad I weaned myself down to one a day this week. Hubby said he was doing it with me only had to have dairy in the form of milk in his tea. Then he went out & bought beer & wine last night (quite unusual) so drunk beer with his dinner! Mind you he had toast for brecky! My focus here on in will be me, & at least he's having healthier meals than usual in what he follows along with. Got the crankies majorly this afternoon, hadn't had enough for lunch I don't think. It was salad (mountains of it!) with avocado dressing & a small tin of tuna (on a picnic) ... think I'll need the bigger tuna if I do that sort of meal while out again. Was feeling headachey & sinusy too before dinner (sinus are symptoms that are a big part why I'm doing this) but felt much better after dinner - the best chilli I've ever had!!! From the clothesmakethegirl.com, even hubby said it was the best chilli ever! Actually I'm still sinusy now but just not noticing it (its my norm) now I'm well fed! I'm low in energy, mood & a bit slow thinking compared to usual! Couldn't be bothered making dinner tonight so used bone broth soup prepared earlier (yay!) & added vegies & chopped up some leftover chicken.
