piupiu
I bought some lovely organic duck breasts and before cooking them I rubbed on a teaspoon of 5 spice powder, stupidly thinking that all it contained was 5 spices. How wrong I was. After eating just one bite of the finished duck (which was delicious!) i thought i better double check the ingredients of the spice mix, and it's first ingredient is sugar! As I only used a teaspoonful of the 5 spice powder on 2 duck breasts and i had one bite of the duck I'm figuring that I consumed no more than 0.01g of sugar. But does this mean that I will have to start back over again with my whole30? I am currently on Day 9. Please help....
GlennR
You don't have to start over from accidental sugar ingestion (especially with such minuscule amounts). Carry on.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 6, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 6, 2014 But stop using that 5 spice powder during the rest of your Whole30.
